من الملاحظ أن دول العالم في الآونة الأخيرة تشهد تقدماً واسعاً ومذهلاً في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، والذي يعتمد الأخير علي التقنية والبرمجة الحديثة والمتطورة. وحيث أنه قد بدأ الذكاء الاصطناعي يدخل في جميع مجالات حياتنا اليومية، لا سيما في مجالات التعليم والطب والهندسة والصناعة والتجارة والمجال العسكري، ومجال النقل سواء البري أو البحري أو الجوي، وفي مجال الزراعة وكذلك في أعمال المحاماة والقضاء وغيرها من المجالات، مما جعل المختصين يتوقعون بأنه في المستقبل القريب لا يمكن الاستغناء عن الذكاء الاصطناعي. وقد تركزت الدراسة في هذا البحث علي تناول مفهوم الذكاء الاصطناعي، وكذلك خصائص وأنواع وأهمية الذكاء الاصطناعي، ثم تعرضنا كذلك من خلال هذا البحث إلي أنواع المسئولية المدنية عن أضرار تطبيق الذكاء الاصطناعي والذي تناولنا فيه المسئولية العقدية، ثم المسئولية التقصيرية، وكذلك المسئولية الموضوعية. وتناولنا كذلك الأساس الذي يمكن أن تقوم عليه المسئولية المدنية في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، والتي قد تقوم علي أساس فكرة العقد، أو قد تقوم علي أساس فكرة المتبوع عن أعمال تابعه، أو قد تقوم علي أساس فكرة حراسة الأشياء أو الآلات الذكية، ثم تناولنا النظرة الحديثة لأساس تلك المسئولية والتي تقوم علي فكرة النائب القانوني أو النائب الإنساني. ثم تعرضنا كذلك في هذا البحث إلي أهم وأشهر التطبيقات في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، وكان من أهمها الحديث عن الطائرة بدون طيار، وكذلك السيارة ذاتية القيادة، وكذلك السفينة ذاتية القيادة، ثم أخيراً الروبوت الطبي.
